Nehruvian: A Legacy Tormented & Tarnished

Today I have visited Teen Murti Bhawan & Indira Memorial at New Delhi. In the atmosphere in vogue, it is really tough for any body to narrate Nehruvian Ideology and brilliance of Indira. I am also not willing to do so as I feel I am not competent enough to say. Although visit of these places, including Nehru Planetarium, mesmerize me. It felt deeply that legacy of these personalities is inter connected with legacy of Modern, Free India. For exploring these personalities, there is requirement of much greater canvas than I have.

At the same time, I have tried to refresh my memories I had at Palaces meant for Royalty at Lal Quila at Agra n Delhi and Fatehpur Sikiri. Arrangement made there was quite similar to those at Teen Murti Bhawan, Indira Memorial and Anand Bhawan at Allahabad. Thus without raising any doubt one can consider Nehru Clan as Last Royal Dynasty of India.

Then I consider efforts of these Royalties in Freedom Struggle in achieving India's Freedom and thereafter in shaping India's Future. Although people criticize Nehruvian policies particularly Foreign Policy at very lower level. But it is really painful that people discard efforts of that towery personalities. I dont believe in the principle of equality in equating sacrifice made. Discarding Equality Principle is like blasphemy in Democratic fashion. But I felt personally that every body has choices in his life. And Choices before persons having means and before person having no means have considerable difference. If I have nothing to lose out of my en-devour then I am not taking as much risk as other differently conditioned person is taking. Some Royal families like Sindiya have enjoyed British period and Independence too.

These photos taken at above mentioned Memorials are glaring examples of their greatness and sacrifice made by them. I felt memmerize when Shri Narendra Modi has declared himself as Pradhan Sewak of the country from the great wall of Lal Quila. But i came to know that Pt Nehru had already placed such example before nation.

Though critics have all right to criticize them left, right & center. But my pain pertains with fate n capability of present generation of the clan. It is not necessary that greatness should give birth to Great. But at least nature ought to be kind enough to give as much wit n courage as required to protect and promote legacy of these nobles. Hope some body came at rescue of such legacy. Allama Iqbal could be referred here:

Liked your narrations but disagree with the contents. You start with an assumption that Nehru/Indira were great. Anyway, very good choice of words. Keep it up.

Budhha: Some thoughts on his Sculpture at Sanchi

Depicting the Enlightenment of Budhha in a statue must be a sense of accomplishment for the sculptor. Compassion n Blissfulness n Calmness..... Budhha has inter-alia taught "रसो वै स:"( रस वहीं है जहां सत्य है), "सो करोही दीपमत्तनो" (द्वीप बनो अर्थात सब संबंधों से मुक्त हो जाओ और असंग हो जाओ), "छंदजातो अनक्खातो" (जिसे कहा नहीं जा सकता). This statue of Budhha is settled in #Sanchi showcasing these virtuous teaching of Budhha. This is the Only Statue of Budhha with a face at Sanchi Stupa. Everlasting calmness on the face and posture, even after facing a brutal ordeal. I am unable to ascertain the level of idiotic, barbaric and inhumane mind set of people who assaulted the statue and of the thought process which paved the way for such assault.
