स्वप्न से यथार्थ तक (Swapn se Yatharth Tak)

सत्य की खोज मे  पागल पथिक की  सारी जिज्ञासा और अभिलाषा उस  समय दम तोड देती हैं, जब बाबा रामदेव के सिखलाये योगासन कि मुद्रा में  बैठे हुए; ईश्वर से साक्षात्कार कि उम्मीद से सांसे ऊपर-नीचे करते हुए याद आता है कि नेट पॅक तो डलवाया ही नहीं, Whats App पर मैसेज आते होंगे। दुनियावी जरूरते अक्सर आध्यात्मिक उम्मीदों का गला घोंट देती हैं। दद्दा से बात करके, कुछ ऐसी अवस्था में ही बड़की भौजी को लहरदार चुनरी ओढ़े पूजा की डलिया लेकर मंदिर की ओर जाते देखकर, लगभग वो अवस्था प्राप्त हो गयी जिसे शायद किसी धर्म में कैवल्य कहते हैं। सकुचाते कदमो से भौजी की तरफ कूच करते हुए, हमने प्रणाम निवेदित कर दिया। जीते रहो बबुवा, कंहाँ दुनिया POKEMON GO के पीछे भाग रही हैं, गली गली में ढूंढ रही हैं और तुम दद्दा के चक्कर में पड़े हुए हो। भौजी ज्ञान देते हुए बोली- दद्दा जितनी  समझ  तो Face Book दे देता हैं। वैसे बात तो मार्के की हैं। भौजी कैसे इतनी अपडेट रहती हैं ये हम अभी तक समझ नहीं पाए थे। और क्या बताये, भौजी को जवाब देने का दिल नहीं करता। लगता ...

जीवन में एक नये सिद्धांत का अवतरण हुआ। "मन मार के जियो " लगता था कि ज्यादा कुछ नहीं  तो थोडा बहुत ही सही उपनिषद वेत्ता बनने की ओर अग्रसर हुए । हम गुनगुनाते हुए बढ़े  जा रहे थे। लल्लन दद्दा ने पूछ लिया बबुवा क्या बात हैं ? चेहरा देख के लगता हैं कि "तुम्हे ख़ुशी मिली इतनी कि मन में ना समाय" लल्लन दद्दा वैसे तो दद्दा कहे जाते हैं लेकिन उम्र में चच्चा के आस पास बैठते होंगे। दद्दा पीढ़ियों से चली आ रही पारिवारिक परम्परा में सबसे बड़के परिवार के कर्ता धर्ता थे। गांव वालो की कहानियों को सच माना जाये और mythology मान के सिरे से ख़ारिज न किया जाये तो दद्दा के दद्दा ने अपने ज़माने में जमींदार को मठ्ठा पिला के कई बिगहे जमीन हथिया ली थी और गांव के सबसे बड़े काश्तकार बन गए थे। दद्दा ने गांव को ही अपनी कर्मभूमि बनाया। सुनते थे कि उनकी अच्छी नौकरी मुम्बई (तब बम्बई ) के गोदरेज़ में लगी थी। लेकिन दद्दा को अपनी आज़ादी से बहुत प्रेम था जिसे वो हरगिज़ मिटाने को तैयार नहीं थे। उनकी आज़ादी पर जब बड़ा प्रहार सुपरवाइजर ने किया और उनकी समय समय पर सुर्ती मलने की आदत पर ऊँगली उठाई। दद्दा ने जमी जमा...

जी में जो आती है कर गुज़रो कहीं ऐसा न हो कल पशेमाँ हों कि क्यों दिल का कहा माना नहीं (पशेमाँ = लज्जित, शर्मिंदा) अहमद फ़राज़ आज ये पंक्तियां पढ़कर जी थोड़ा सा कुम्हला सा गया हैं। मिड्लक्लास जी होता ही ऐसा हैं, हर पहर दोपहर कुम्हला जाता हैं। याद करने बैठो तो हजारो ऐसी बातें याद आती हैं जब आदमी अपने आप से समझौता करता हैं। अपने एक मित्र (जिन्हें भक्तो ने 'बाबा' की उपाधि दी हैं ) की चारपाई का कोना पकड़ लिया हमने और बात छेड़ दी। बाबा को अपने पुराने मित्र की बात याद आ गयी जो कहते थे कि बाबू जिंदगी में खुश रहने का एक ही फार्मूला हैं ---- "मन मार के जियो " इसका मतलब ये हैं कि  जब भी मन ललचाये कुछ ऐसा करने को या पाने को जो अपनी हैसियत और संसाधनों की परिधि से बाहर  जा रहा हैं तो बस मन को काबू में कर लो थोड़ा दबा लो जज्बातो को। उन्होंने कई शास्त्रीय उदाहरण भी प्रस्तुत कर दिए इस विषय में। कहा कि  मन को वश में करने की लड़ाई बहुत पुरानी हैं। अर्जुन ने भगवन से ही पूछ लिया था : चंचलं हि मनः कृष्ण प्रमाथि बलवद्दृढम्- | तस्याहं निग्रहं मन्ये वायोरि...

Today I have visited Teen Murti Bhawan & Indira Memorial at New Delhi. In the atmosphere in vogue, it is really tough for any body to narrate Nehruvian Ideology and brilliance of Indira. I am also not willing to do so as I feel I am not competent enough to say. Although visit of these places, including Nehru Planetarium, mesmerize me. It felt deeply that legacy of these personalities is inter connected with legacy of Modern, Free India. For exploring these personalities, there is requirement of much greater canvas than I have. At the same time, I have tried to refresh my memories I had at Palaces meant for Royalty at Lal Quila at Agra n Delhi and Fatehpur Sikiri. Arrangement made there was quite similar to those at Teen Murti Bhawan, Indira Memorial and Anand Bhawan at Allahabad. Since the outset of civilisation tussle between rights, responsibilities and authority of men and women is going on without any conclusive point.  If we draw our attention on role of women in ancient era or be more particular in era before Industrial Revolution, one can easily trace that role of woman was limited particularly within bounds of home. Men were supposed to interact with outer society and earn for the households. If we trace history of feminist movement, it rounds around era of Industrial Revolution. Prior to that there was no demand from Women to liberate them from their household boundaries. Industrial revolution has paved way for technological development which resulted in easiness in accomplishment of any task which was quite difficult before such technological advancement. Today UN is celebrating Zero Discrimination Day. It is admitted fact that  discrimination remains widespread – gender, nationality, age, ethnic origin, sexual orientation or religion can all unfortunately be the basis for some form of discrimination. UN's  theme of this year’s  Day  is ‘Stand Out,’ and encourages everyone to stand for fair and just societies. People are being urged to value and embrace diversity and recognize the diverse set of talents and skills that each person brings – talents that enrich society and strengthen communities. We the people of India claim that we are in Society which slam Discrimination.  We have Constitution which bless us with guiding principles of governance without any sort of discrimination. We have judiciary which is committed to the issue. But if keep an eye on the suggestive instances of discrimination by UN ; i.e.; i magine a young woman newly diagnosed with HIV being told by her doctor that she must...

Today when I entered in the office I have a lit bit information about the #Pathankot incident. I would like to specify that right now I am working in Legal Department of a Public Sector Bank in Delhi. Through out the day there was no talk about Pathankot or other related issues in the office. Yes, people are flooded with work ;-) (this is a pet dialogue of my colleague) but it is a bitter truth that no body cares about things which are part of their business or things affects them directly. Even I myself feel that I am not attached with incidents happening around me as I was when I was in College and in days before getting employment in Bank. People discuss about the DA slabs coming this month, about Leaves generated, future leave program and bla bla blas...But no single word about #Pathankot. Hope this is the way of thinking or noticing, one adopt after entering into employment. I too feel that I am going to be part of the these people around me sooner or later. Question aris...
