In the Linked Article, Usha Ramnathan while discussing issues pertaing to AADHAR in the light of recent Supreme Court Judgement inter-alia narrated:- "QUOTE" "Yet, it is that precarious class of people who have been asked to enrol, link, and authenticate, using biometrics to establish that they are who they say they are. The judgment of the majority has found a success rate of over 99.7 per cent, and that has convinced the judges that biometrics is unfailing. Justice Chandrachud, in his dissent, cites the Economic Survey of 2016-17 which found biometric failure rates among the beneficiaries to be 49 per cent in Jharkhand and 37 per cent in Rajasthan.
