Life..basics

Since the very first day human had opened up eyes and saw beautiful world,man had travelled a lot from nudity to clothes,from stone to fighter jet,from numbering stone bytes to inventing internet..........But still human is human having all those basic rquirement of apetite whether of food or emotion.Though some one could claim that science might defeat these or erase as general scratch from human life but such development will not be a thing better than machinary and surely not be a human.
Why these attributes like love,anger,hunger,revolt,contentment are still a part of human and what is their utility, what was their role in development..........still a question of thinking..rethinking..

well, a very basic question that the society should ask itself. One can put his life's effort in vain to get answer to these questions and get nothing out of it OR the answer is as simple as just understanding the question.

You are right.There are many aspects that are still left unanswered about what life is all really about.Science has interfered in knowing more about the existence of life, but it still does not have any answer about where does life go after death.
Now do these attributes like love, anger, hunger etc that you rightly mention, in the end lead to "ultimate" surrender? And to whom to surrender?? The divine??Now this divine power or grace which we all believe that this is the only source responsible for "life"and all the living and non living interventions is itself under scrutiny.Think more and we zero in on nothing most of the time.

Budhha: Some thoughts on his Sculpture at Sanchi

Depicting the Enlightenment of Budhha in a statue must be a sense of accomplishment for the sculptor. Compassion n Blissfulness n Calmness..... Budhha has inter-alia taught "रसो वै स:"( रस वहीं है जहां सत्य है), "सो करोही दीपमत्तनो" (द्वीप बनो अर्थात सब संबंधों से मुक्त हो जाओ और असंग हो जाओ), "छंदजातो अनक्खातो" (जिसे कहा नहीं जा सकता). This statue of Budhha is settled in #Sanchi showcasing these virtuous teaching of Budhha. This is the Only Statue of Budhha with a face at Sanchi Stupa. Everlasting calmness on the face and posture, even after facing a brutal ordeal. I am unable to ascertain the level of idiotic, barbaric and inhumane mind set of people who assaulted the statue and of the thought process which paved the way for such assault.
